Julia Salmenoja

My name is Julia Salmenoja, owner of Salmenoja Films.

I work in film industry, you can learn more about my previous work from my LinkedIn. I have worked in features and tv series mainly, but I have also done a lot of commercials and one reality as well!

I am 38 years old and I live in Helsinki, Finland.

When I established my own company a year ago in October 2020 I had two goals for my company and it’s visibility online. First of all I of course want to be able to sell my production services for production companies. But another big ambition is to increase openness in our industry of business.

For example in my Instagram profile I share both my work in productions as well as my work for my own company. I want to break boundaries and make production work more known. I believe that openness will help us all in the industry to develop and move forward. I believe that by a true, open conversation we can get pass these things like ”this needs to be done this way because this is the way it has always been done”. This attitude needs to be changed. Now.
